Mountainfilm on Tour is coming back to Miami for a 5th consecutive year.   Through thoughtful programming and fundraising, we turn our attention to the water, climate, and natural environment, while also supporting organizations that reflect the spirit of Mountainfilm.

FRIDAY
Come as you are and help us kick-off Mountainfilm On Tour–MIAMI on Friday Night, a casual evening of short films celebrating the adventurous spirit.  Craft beer will be flowing and food available for purchase.

SATURDAY
[STRANG] invites you to a night benefiting THE FLORIDA WILDLIFE CORRIDOR ORGANIZATION who champions the support needed to permanently connect, protect, and restore the Florida Wildlife Corridor – a statewide network of lands and waters that supports wildlife and people.
Enjoy complimentary beverages and light bites before our feature film; The Last Green Thread (2018) which brings attention to the necessary preservation of the narrow paths that allow wildlife to travel through Florida's Everglades Headwaters.  Amidst a backdrop of massive development and population growth, the film documents the vitality and connectedness of an ecosystem in a state of rapid transformation. Mother nature may be resilient - but when the last green thread is stretched to the breaking point, can we summon the courage and resourcefulness to change course?

A panel discussion will follow with Max Strang (Chairman of MountainfilmMIA Inc. & founder of Strang Design) and Mallory Dimmitt who served as Executive Director for the Florida Wildlife Corridor Organization & participated in both the 2012 and 2015 expeditions.

The evening will close with a silent auction.
