Mountainfilm on Tour – Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation
Mountainfilm on Tour showcases a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the annual Mountainfilm festival held in Telluride, Colorado.
In lieu of a traditional in-person gathering, SBFC will be hosting a virtual screening of Mountainfilm on Tour with an inspiring program of films that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art, and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
The Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation was formed in 2005, and has been hosting Mountainfilm on Tour since 2010. We are dedicated to boots on-the-ground wilderness stewardship of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, and surrounding wildlands. Our projects include trail maintenance, inventory and mapping, restoration, trash removal, wilderness education, and training future wilderness leaders.
This screening is an opportunity to support SBFC in our mission. Ticket and raffle purchases will go directly to getting boots on the ground for maintaining trails, educating our communities about the wild spaces we love, and providing inclusive access to the Selway-Bitterroot and Frank Church Wilderness. The virtual program is available beginning at 4 p.m. MST on Thursday, January 7 and will be available until 4 p.m. MST on Sunday, January 10. To see the films selected to play in this program, click here.
