Event Details

Mountainfilm on Tour showcases a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the annual Mountainfilm festival held in Telluride, Colorado.

This Laramie edition of Mountainfilm on Tour is hosted by the University of Wyoming’s Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources in partnership with UniWyo Federal Credit Union.

In lieu of a traditional in-person gathering, the University of Wyoming's Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources will offer virtual screenings of Mountainfilm on Tour with an inspiring program of films that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. To view the films that will play in this program click here.

The Haub School will host a live giveaway for viewers via Instagram on Thursday, October 8 from 6–9pm for participants watching the films during that time.  Follow Haub School of ENR on Instagram for event updates.

If you enjoy this program please consider supporting the Haub School with a donation via this link.  Your contributions play a vital role in helping the Haub School carry out its mission to support students and communities in understanding complex environment and natural resource issues, and to craft innovative, collaborative solutions for the world around us.

The Haub School is proud to support Mountainfilm’s mission of bringing people together to celebrate the human spirit, explore inspiring places and cultures, and to advance solutions for a livable world.

This is the ninth year the Haub School has hosted Mountainfilm on Tour in Laramie.

The virtual program is available to view beginning at 9 a.m. MST on Thursday, October 8, and will be accessible until 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 10. Tickets for Mountainfilm on Tour in Laramie are free and available to the public.

To access the virtual show, “purchase” a complimentary ticket on the Eventgroove platform and follow the link contained in the confirmation email. You do not need to create an account to participate in the event.
