Mountainfilm on Tour - Damariscotta, ME
Mountainfilm on Tour showcases a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the annual Mountainfilm festival held in Telluride, Colorado.
The Great Salt Bay Parent Teacher Organization (GSB PTO) is the host of the Mountainfilm on Tour program in Damariscotta, Maine in partnership with Friends of GSB, Inc.
This is the second year that the GSB PTO is hosting Mountainfilm on Tour. While hosting an inspiring collection of films, the show is an opportunity to bring together the school community and our larger community and also support the ongoing efforts of the GSB PTO.
In lieu of a traditional in-person gathering, the GSB PTO will be hosting a virtual screening of Mountainfilm on Tour with an inspiring program of films that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Please be advised that there are a few films in this program that have some language (ass, badass, shit, f-bombs) that are mostly used in a celebratory way, but may not be deemed appropriate for children by some parents. Those films are Limitless, Concepcíon, Slack Sisters, Originate, The Legend of Rafael, Llotse and Wingsuit Flies Through Narrow Hole.
